Join Chef Mathis David for a two-day, fully hands-on workshop covering the art of French bread baking and sourdough fermentation. Designed for enthusiasts and aspiring bakers, this workshop focuses on classic techniques and practical know-how.
What You’ll Learn:
How to start and maintain a sourdough starter
How to make sourdough bread with depth of flavor and proper structure
Traditional French baguette techniques
Classic French white bread
Burger buns with a light, fluffy texture
Ciabatta (demonstration only – shaping and hydration techniques)
Workshop Format:
This is a fully hands-on class. Chef Mathis will guide you through each step, from mixing and proofing to shaping and baking.
Note: If the class exceeds 7 participants, attendees will work in pairs per table.
However, each participant will complete their products individually.
This workshop is ideal for those who want to dive deeper into artisan bread making and learn practical skills for both home and professional kitchens.
